Bicycle Adventure through Northern India and Nepal

Sophie and David Frazer had a wonderful bicycle journey through North West India into Nepal and through to the North East of India following the Himalaya. Travelling from November 2010 to May 2011 by mountain bike and then a 4wd tour in the last few weeks in NE India, as the monsoon season was well on the way.

We cannot thank the Indian and Nepali people who really made our trip. Unbelievable generousity and spirit, kindness and honesty that day after day added to our experience. Travelling by bicycle allowed us to gain an insight into the cultures and an exposure that we feel could not have been achieved by other modes of transport.

We hope that this blog assists other travellers, especially those heading off on their bikes, as both countries could not have been kinder to us. This was an experience of a lifetime, however we do hope to get out there again on a bicycle tour in years to come.
